If we all could learn from one anothers perspective veiws, knowledge, information, question, sollutions, truth and lies (of which the possibility is real)....if we could add and subtract from the whole what needs to be....would each here with all your knowledge that you posses, individually, write something in contribution to such....to create a new equation away from the equations that past and presently have been written for us that adds only to the confusion...

Add something here as an application no matter what...food for thought..and maybe..just maybe we can push the doors open a bit wider.

I will add mine in amongst your own...as this request comes from a place of respect that each of us holds a peice of the broken key...even if we don't feel it

Im not 100% sure what yer afta here, theres one thing i think all people should have and thats an opinion, there own opinion/thughts on everything, if you dont have your own then your following someone elses and thats no good.
Smurf do you have any of your own or do you say everything with a music vid, every one of your posts ive seen has been someone elses music.

i am after exactly what you have written....it is your own thought...opinoin...valid...and just applied to veiw in my thought....i ask myself...tully in contimplation...if what you've written works...and it does for me....my perception of your words is ..not to follow anyones or anythings stream but your own...which suggest that understandings are individual just as perception...it is where my mind takes me rite after seriously contemplating what you have written ;in the respect that they are from your individual thought that surely is shared by many and then not so many...and again valid 'cause what might not be applicabal to me is just right for another...your peice will lead to another....good application because it has lead me to new thought....
I f there is truth in the notion that tecnology is moralistically neutal until it is applied to intention ...then we can use it....with intention for growth with the subtraction of those things that don't allow us to see the usefullness of united thought ;that's not allowed by the conditioned seperation by our conditioners....true freedoom is already being found here...it has potential to go further or will it become frozen.... can it be done here...i believe it can....or am i wrong.....and if i am....let's find out why not...with all open minds that are here already

I do see what you mean but id have to disagree about the music part, as a piece of music only realy expresses the feeling/emotion of the person performing the piece, someone may feel a familiarity of feeling or intent but its not there own. I also like to know what people think, its just hard getting some people to express themselves.

same understanding respect that's given to opinion should be given to expression.....many diffent opinions, expessions, frequencies; that like music, that envokes emotion that can be related to in memory or in the moments experience in the life, are all valid....maybe not to each individual but surely to another...allow that....those seeds can grow....allow it to be written and expressed and built on by those that can....and then understanding can be found.....here there are no labels, races, idiologies..ect..here....that can be taken advantage of....

Nicholi's interpretation of Freud’s “believer-unbeliever” categories as particular worldviews...
“ Whether we realize it or not, all of us possess a worldview. A few years after birth, we all gradually formulate our philosophy of life. Most of us make one of two basic assumptions:
We view the cosmos as a result of random events and life on this planet a matter of chance (unbeliever);
- or - We believe in an Intelligence beyond our understanding who gives the universe order, and life meaning".
Our worldview infects our personal, social, and political lives. It influences how we perceive ourselves, how we relate to others, how we adjust to adversity, and what we understand to be our purpose.
Our worldview helps determine our values, our ethics, and our capacity for happiness. It helps us understand where we come from, our heritage; who we are, our identity; why we exist on this planet, our purpose; what drives us, our motivation; and where we are going, our destiny.

Professor Nicholi describes a research project he conducted involving Harvard students who claimed that they had experienced a “religious conversion.” His purpose was to determine if these experiences were “an expression of pathology, isolating and destructive, or were they adaptive and constructive? Did these experiences impair or enhance functioning?”
Results published in the American Journal of Psychiatry stated that each subject described ‘a marked improvement in ego functioning, including a radical change in life style with an abrupt halt in the use of drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes; improved impulse control, with adoption of a strict sexual code demanding chastity or marriage with fidelity; improved academic performance; enhanced self-image and greater access to inner feelings; an increased capacity for establishing ‘close, satisfying relationships’; improved communication with parents…; a positive change in affect, with a lessening of ‘existential despair’; and a decrease in preoccupation with the passage of time and apprehension over death.”

Some historians of science such as Thomas Kuhn point out that even a scientist’s worldview influences not only what he investigates but also how he interprets what he investigates.
Our worldview tells more about us perhaps than any other aspect of our personal history.”

Our train of thought and world veiws are a constantly evolving through our experiences in this life, the human interactions we experience, and our perception of the natural world around us. we all have opionons and we all perceive things differently, the true gift is to learn to not shut yourself off to others perceptions and listen to one another and learn what you can from those perceptions of others, to seperate yourself from one group just because they happen to have a different opinion on one things is looking for the differences and not looking for the simalaritys, we all have something to learn from one another, the child who treats everyone as a friend because they have not been instilled with prejudice or predetermined opinions, the person who is supposedly of a lower level of thought who can look at the world without disdain and take joy in the simple pleasure of a soft melody or a friendly dogs happy greeting even though he really has no reason to be happy other then he has found a new friend, to say that the world is split into two groups called believers or unbelievers is foolish because there will always be thoughts and beliefs that blur that line. some listen to music to discover what the emotion of the musician was at the time of writing, some listen to it and instill there own emotion, some just listen, we cant be the judge of others because the only one who can really judge in the end is yourself.

i wonder.....seems to me that somehow we have become so entrenched in our self percieved or self decieved 'right' beliefs- in the justifications of OUR worldview. And sure, some may work better than others- but all i see is people constantly 'fighting' their corner.

and maybe the seperation- isolation is the eternal plight of being 'human'

of course we could argue that that is merely illusion, but again, either is a personal belief system.

Lain Im not sure what you want from this thread........there are too many disparate beliefs and means of expressing those beliefs. And at root an apparent inability to have open minds to hear each other or understand. Do i even understand what you are asking????

sadly it seems that we are still too influenced by.......long list....starting with our own physical bodies......ending with tv to seem able to actually open the door a bit wider.

even in this forum we are influenced by gender and avatars.....of course they may not be truthful representations....but there is still a (maybe) subliminal acknowledgement and therefore influence.
