TLC is not "The Learning Channel" anymore.

TLC isn't what it used to be.Growing up i remember it being a new channel and one of the first programs on the network was "Operation",and it was a good show.

Nowadays TLC is mainly"Little people Big World" The Little Couple" John and Kate plus 8"21 kids and counting ect. Oh and "Toddlers and Tiaras"(Must have Pedos on their payroll)

The Learning Channel is not the Learning Channel it used to be instead it is full of "Reality" shows like the "Long Island Medium"(Apparently TLC found a real deal psychic and gave her a show) and other crap you cant really learn anything from unless that is your Jersey Shore fan number 1.

Also A&E isnt the same either,It used to be Biographys ,plays,mysteries like ms. Marpel and puroit.
Now you got Crith Angel,Dog the racist Bounty Hunter Junk wars or w/e

I hear ya mate.

The Discovery Channel when they first started used to have National Geographic quality shows covering the entire world.

Look what we got now: Orange County Choppers, Mythbusters, my gawd the list goes on and down from there.

Same with AMC. Hell even HBO has some shite programming I refuse to watch anymore.

With that being said, its all part and parcel why I turned the fucking TV off a long time ago.

TLC sucks nowadays, but Theresa Caputo (Long Island Medium) is fucking awesome. She is totally the real deal .I remember her from a long time ago, and I have been watching the show ever since it premiered. Even my husband, who is a major die-hard skeptic, believes she is the real thing.

It's easy to just write the whole thing off as just guesses and she is pulling information out of the "clients," but if you watch it, like more than just one episode, you will see that she is for real. And those people are not actors. You can't fake the emotion that some of them have. Especially when dealing with children that have passed away...
