Here's a list of compiled transformer incidents that have happened within the last 3 1/2 weeks. I don't know if this is the usual number of transformer fires, explosions, and problems over the course of three and a half weeks, but it seems kind of high to me. I left out several in India and Africa which could simply be attributed to poor infrastructure, and also disregarded reports blaming wrecks, storms, or squirrels.

I grew up in California during a time of very active San Andreas Fault line. Transformers explode as a natural reaction to earthquakes, even if they are small ones that people don't feel. It's a geomagnetic effect. During big earthquakes, it's looks like air raids duringWorld War II as transformers blow up all over the city, close by and far off. As the Earth's crust shifts, which is what is happening right now (it was in the 30's and 40's all week up here in Northern Maine as we shift toward the North Pole), this geomagnetic effect WILL cause transformers to blow up. Plus, as epicfailure stated, our infrastructure is failing as well. Maybe somebody knew this was coming and stoped spending tax dollars on our infrastructure....!
