A lot worse than I originally thought.
The fed is printing billions a month and the only thing that is stopping hyper inflation kicking in is the fact that the dollar is still the prime currency to purchase oil with.

It's all funny money anyways without a standard, I think its lunacy that we run the world on monopoly money that doesn't have any value in the real world. It's just paper.

An excellent point, it's just that until that understanding becomes more widespread large numbers of people will continue to reference the numbers and make decisions about things that happen in the real world based on them. There's also the fact that most of it never even exists as paper...it's just information, and poorly regulated information at that.

Excellent point, and it's only going to keep heading in that direction the number of federal reserve notes in circulation steadily decreases every year. Within our life times it will all be information based, giving whoever controls that DB the ability to wipe out your wealth at their whim, with absolutely nothing you could do about it.
