In related news:

The United States of America is attempting to disarm its citizens, in violation of Amendment 2

They are routinely censoring the news, and creating false propaganda to further their agenda, in violation of Amendment 1

They are spying on your Facebook posts and your cell phone calls, in violation of Amendment 4

Seriously, like any of this stuff would actually be happening. The Supreme Court would say something... right?

It is no secret that the Obama administration has pushed for more drone strikes abroad, and during the Obama presidency the battle tactic has been on the rise. But one thing that has been kept secret for the last two years is a key US drone base in Saudi Arabia. According to reports, several key media outlets were aware of the base but refused to report on it per the government's request. Russ Baker, editor-in-chief for WhoWhatWhy.com, gives us his take on the agreement between the mainstream media and the Obama administration to keep the base a secret.

The point I am making, ( I can not write/speak for Cia212) Is that for 6 to 7 years of Georgie administration you had protesters crying about the war crimes, dumb asses camping out in front of his house in Tx. The media was hounding every bit of every military action taken/discovered.

Where as fast forward to The current administration, an they (media outlets and war protesters) are falling over themselves to explain away why this is needed, a better way of war and is ok that american citizens be included in these powers. The current administration has a five to one ratio over georgie and this is only the 5th year.

If peeps are gonna be cry babies over it, At least be consistent.. The fact they (the administration) promised to shut down gitmo during their first term, only to shut down the office in charge of that duty while it (gitmo) is running full steam is hurlarious.. that is right hurlarious not hilarious..

Not to mention (but i am anyway) they are leading anti gun numb nuts in this country and abroad by their short n curlies on gun "rights" issues while they were caught red handed smuggling guns into Mexico, where gun laws are vary strict.. Aiding cartels in their bloody campaigns to spread fear, and gain control. In an attempt to use such news (American guns smuggled into mexico causing crime) as reason(fodder) as to why gun rights needs to be restricted or banned..
The shit would almost be comical if it weren't true. But you have peeps agreeing that gun rights need to be restricted or outright banned.
It's like the war on drugs and the morons who bought into hook line and sinker. Many on this sight have bought into the anti gun bs while claiming to like or see a need for them .. To a limit..
Damned retarded to the Potatoith degree..

Despite my opinion on the subject, or others for that matter, they are doing quite the same progressive bullshit the previous bunch did..

Not as simplistic as my first comments, but you seemed to need clarification.
There ya go.

Haha, what's new in the US. If anything, I'm positive Israel is going to be the one to launch the drone strikes :P

Con I don't disagree with anything you are saying mate

I agree that the hypocracy of some people and in the media is astounding...

When it comes to a government as large as the US government, with so many tenticles, different departments, different law enforcement areas, different military ops, and different mandates, do you think that at times its just a simple matter of the left arm not knowing what the right arm is doing? Not saying that this is definately the case, but I have seen many instances where one department does everything that contradicts a different department, simply because they didn't know... communication (or the lack thereof) is a major factor I believe in many of these occurances...

as for the media, well, IMO they simply follow the most topical story that will get the most attention and that attracts the greatest viewer space... not to mention that much that we see/hear from the media is driven by agendas or relationships between government department heads and prominent media spokespeople.... many favors need to be repaid I think, and this often spills out onto our press.

But, I agree mate wholeheartedly, the anomalies are so blatantly obvious at times makes you want to scream.
