Switch on the tv, and you see news about murders, killings, wars, etc. Watch movies, and you see the same thing. Taking this space science as some interesting subject is entertaining. Love for science in its real sense for fun is fine, i hope. And it is not good either to ignore facts around us. Of course, names like reptilians, crow-ians, etc are somewhat strange. But please imagine what happened to Indians who in their history ignored invaders as only merchants intending to buy spices?

Johnston Atoll Airport is located on the Johnston Atoll in the United States Minor Outlying Islands, in the Pacific Ocean several hundred kilometers southwest of Hawaii. While an active U.S. military facility during the 20th century, the airport was shut down in 2005 and the airstrip is not maintained; it is now used only in emergencies.

WIKIPEDIA:
The islands have no indigenous inhabitants. On Johnston Atoll in previous years, an average of 1,100 U.S. military and civilian contractor personnel were present, but as of May 2005 all U.S. government personnel had left the island. Four to 20 Nature Conservancy and U.S. Fish and Wildlife staff live at Palmyra Atoll. The other islands are usually uninhabited.

WIKIPEDIA:
Public entry to the islands is by special-use permit from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service only and generally restricted to scientists and educators. Only Palmyra Atoll have serviceable runways; Baker Island, Howland Island, and Johnston Atoll had airstrips in earlier times but they have since been abandoned and are no longer operational.

Moon hole might be suitable for colony

(CNN) -- That's the message sent by an international team of scientists who say they've discovered a protected lunar "lava tube" -- a deep, giant hole -- that might be well suited for a moon colony or a lunar base.
