I don't see anything in that video that shows those flying things changing direction, so I have to ask the most obvious question about the most mundane explanation: how are you so sure that isn't just space junk?

Well, here is the rub on the 'debris' angle.
if that was Debris, it would be travelling at 22,000 miles per hour.
The ground tracks all space debris over the size of a paint chip
and they alter orbits when they are passineg through a field of it.
A paint chip would hit with the velocity and kinetic energy transfer of a locomotive going 60 miles an hour.
Now..
If they have been up there with THAT level of debris (if thats what it was) there is no chance that in ten years, they have not been hit once. Mathematically impossible.
Flying that close, in those intervals...there would have been a hit already.
Two, since it doesnt appear that they are alarmed or moving the orbit, then they must know what it is, and know for a fact that their Bazillion dollar Skylab isnt going to be knocked out of space by a one cent chip of Sherman Williams. They move the Space Shuttle with a similar criterion..if its over the size of a large paint chip..Move the orbit with Thrusters.
Then...
There are objects on there that absolutely do change direction.
I wasnt even aware that he said to look for it.
i saw it on my own.
So I'm on the fence, and i dont buy the straight Debris brush off .....this time.
(mostly because of the seriousness with which they treat shit that's flying Mach 4 and can punch through both sides of the space station without losing any velocity.)

I have to agree with you 100 pct. I couldn't have said it any better. Good job.

I have thought about the numbers of things zipping by, and if they are space junk why they haven't hit the space station, but then I wondered what the actual distance is between these things and the space station... Is there any way to calculate that? Because it would only make sense that the ISS would be placed in an orbit far enough outside the ring of junk in order to protect it.
