The two objects moving in tandem, look like satellites. The object at the end of the video was definitely not a satellite. It wasn't a conventional plane either. Not at that distance.

They may have been NOSS triplet satellites which orbit in a triangular formation.

I didn't think satellites could change their orbit?? These things are travelling in at least 3 different directions over the course of 5 minutes.. What satellites do this? I don't know of any that travel like that.

There are several types of directions in which satellites orbit:

A. Geostationary Equatorial Orbit
Satellites in geostationary equatorial orbit (GEO) orbit Earth around the equator at a very specific altitude that allows them to complete one orbit in the same amount of time that it takes Earth to rotate once. As a result, these satellites stay above one point on Earth’s equator at all times.

B. Low Earth Orbit
A satellite in low Earth orbit (LEO) orbits at an altitude of 2,000 km (1,200 mi) or less.

C. Medium Earth Orbit
Medium Earth orbit (MEO) satellites orbit at an altitude about 10,000 km (about 6,000 mi)

D. Polar Orbits
Satellites in polar orbits orbit around Earth at right angles to the equator over both the North and South poles. Polar orbits can occur at any altitude.

E. Sun-Synchronous Orbits
A satellite in a Sun-synchronous orbit always passes over a certain point of Earth when the Sun is at the same position in Earth’s sky. A Sun-synchronous satellite has a retrograde orbit (it moves clockwise around Earth), orbits in a low Earth orbit, and orbits at a specific angle with respect to Earth’s equator (about 98°).

Why do they need to be moving fast to be suspicious? These, whatever they are, are not here to impress mankind so we go 'whooooa man', they couldnt care less what you and I thought. I dont think a highly evolved race would be that immature, like a teenager in a nissan.. So no i'm not a fan of 'fast means aliens and slow means planes' I think that's quite a silly approach. Look at all the nasa videos, sts51 and heaps of others, all slow moving. Hard to know how fast or slow they're moving as there are only distant stars in the background as a reference and don't know how far out they are.

I find it's best to work out what these sort of objects are not, eliminate the impossible then you're left with the possibles.

They are not: comets, planes can't travel that close together, doubt their helicopters, not swamp gas, not an illusion, probably not remote control planes.. Whatelse are they not?

Could be satellites, though don't know of any that can change orbit 2 or 3 times in the space of a few minutes and then there's that v shaped thing which is easy enough to make out. Could be cgi but don't believe it is.. Could be...?? visitors??.. Could be military cuz melbourne has a massive military :roll:
