christomite :flop:, yes the mass sighting ones are always very intriguing and this sighting complements the mass school sighting of 62 children in Zimbabwe 1994, which you might already know about.

Its a shame the you tube link for the recent Westall 66 scifi channel broadcast has now been removed but hopefully it will be posted again soon!

Contact with children of a young age may happen for the shear purpose of "getting them used to it". Say ET does make public contact, well all those kids already saw the things, it won't be so shocking for them. I half wonder if that's why we have so much mainstream media showing aliens like the ones they and others describe, to get us used to the sight of them.

There was a similar incident in the UK in the 70s with a whole primary school witnessing a ufo landing - the teachers then got the kids to draw what they saw - was on John Craven's Newsround at the time - i'll see what i can find.

From mysteriousbritain.co.uk

Broad Haven was the scene of a UFO flap during the late 1970's. There were several reported sightings; the most widely publicised was the strange visitation to a field near to Broad Haven primary school in February 1977.

On the 4th of that month 14 primary children witnessed a silvery yellow cigar shaped UFO, and a few also witnessed a humanoid figure in a silver suit. Following this report there were adult witnesses to a domed shaped UFO in the same vicinity. There were several more sightings over the following months, which levelled off considerably after 1977.

Thanks for that Nik418 :flop: , I reckon whoever whatever is in these craft think its more appropriate to appear to the younger generation, perhaps they consider older minds too unaccepting, well thats the view I would like to take, here is a bit more info on this mass school sighting 1977 sighting and also another web link.

Quote,
But Martin Griffiths, senior lecturer in earth and space sciences at the University of Glamorgan, dismissed the UFO business as a modern mythology created by the media, which did not stand up to rigorous scientific scrutiny.

"It's full of vivid imagery and imagination, and there's nothing wrong in that, but when we want to do scientific tests on these things there's nothing behind them," he said. "They can be explained away very easily in most cases.

"Whereas people in the past believed in angels they have passed into beings from another planet."

He said it was no coincidence that 89.6% of all sightings in the United States took place in close proximity to airbases.

"There may be something going on, but it's human rather than alien," he said.

The famous Pembrokeshire sighting took place in February 1977, when 14 pupils at a Broad Haven primary school claimed to have seen a cigar-shaped spaceship land in a field next to their playground just after lunch time.

Some of the children even claimed to have seen spacemen around the aircraft dressed in silvery grey.

When the headmaster asked them to draw what they had seen, he was astonished to find that the drawings were almost identical.

Further sightings in the county of glowing lights and spacemen poured in over the following months.
