It's travelling at relativity the same speed as the meteorite.
If it just shot out the side or went in a different direction then we would have something here.
Would love it to be a UFO though. Who knows for sure?

If you look close all of the the pieces seem to have a smoke trail? But not that large flashing object behind could be a ufo?
