This has got to be the best, clearest image of a UFO on the surface of mars yet.

The UFO is seen above the horizon. Given the clarity of the UFO i would guess that its close to the rover. I dont think its above the mountains in the background. I would guess maybe a few hundred meters.

The object is not seen in any other image, which leads me to believe this is an object in the skies close to the rover. Could this be something to do with the contaminated drill bit sent to mars? Could this be a drone of some kind, working out what life we took to mars...by mistake (or as a secret experiment that got found out).

I dont think the planet is as dead as we are led to believe.

Image is available here:

So, if this isnt the best image of something on mars that shouldnt be there...then what will it take???

By the way, the Sky News article doesn't say anything about a ufo.

Why are you surprised? :headscratch:
In the description it says...
The object is not seen in any other image, which leads me to believe this is an object in the skies close to the rover.

That's the first thing I would look for before I make such claims. It's in all the new pictures by the way.

I've read it's dead pixels in the camera.

Some times it is, but the "dead pixel" wouldn't be in the same spot in multiple pictures.

If it's a dead pixel on the sensor, yes it would. Like a dead pixel on a monitor.
