I live in Toronto and did not see this. I go out every night for a smoke and always look up at the sky, but never, even once in my life I have seen anything like that. Good pics!

I also live in T.O. ... Bay/Bloor... looking east... could it be mistaken Porter air traffic? I have choppers and planes flying around all the time... Dont get me wrong... you may have seen something.

When I was living in Whitby a couple of years ago, I watched an orange/green globe slowly cross the sky one summer evening as the sun began to set ... being tailed by 2 fighter jets (not a sight we see very often in our sky) I sure wish I had thought to grab my camera as you had.

On an unrelated note... GO CANADA GO!!! (it was a close 3rd period in men's hockey tonight... but we prevailed!)
