ok, so the UFC has a show if you all dont know, called ultimate fighter.

Last night they had a fight, and correct me if I am wrong, but Dana totally had that one fixed. Big dude kicked the crap out of the Brit, but the Brit won?! lol.

Fix is on... and very lame....

anyone else see this feel the same?!??!

Yea i saw the fight and It was not set up.. That big dude gassed out in the 1st round.. The Brit won because he was getting in those leg kicks scoring points.. That fight was close be the britt pulled it off by the skin of his teeth.. Big guys like that gas easy because of there size and bad conditioning... Not because u think the fight was fixed..

well my response to this:
A. this was their first major MMA fight and it is on TV to millions of people, so you know they were all amped up, which drained them out. (in experience)

B. I dont think you win a fight by leg kicks. Wes had 2 takedowns, had sweeneys back, landed a few good head shots, and he made sweeney turn is back and run away a few times!!!! ure dude was gassed at the end but so was sweeney.

Personally I thought Wes won the fight by showing clear domination. Sure he got gassed, but that dont lose a fight for you.

And two judges scored 20-18?! lol - sweeney ran away the first round

I dont know how your on ultimate fighter and run away and turn your back on your opponent, that crap right there should have nixed sweeney.

I think Dana wants another good Brit fighter because their other brit boy got his ass knocked out by henderson. Fight was fixed, only way wes was winning that was if he k/o'd sweeney.

And you watch if kimbo comes to a decision, Kimbo will win.

Sup guys, first time posting but been here for a long time

That fight was for sure fixed, it is impossible to win with leg kicks, period. The submission attempts also count for points, and if I'm not mistaken, Shivers had 2 attempts, the kimura at the beginning and the rear naked choke at the end of the round.

Personally I hope Kimbo wins next week, screw Roy Nelson that fat bastard would get dominated in the UFC. And it won't go to a decision, win or lose, Kimbo is going in to knock Roy the hell out!

helldozer55, although rare, it is possible to win with leg kicks. I've seen many a fighter struggle to stand after a well positioned kick. :cheers:
