Unannounced 'HUGE' discovery on Mars (not water).

So...in a hundred years, MarsUSA is attacking MarsIraq because almost all of the Perchlorate on Mars has been used up. Is it me or is this just oil 2.0?

It's not like they'll be making perchlorate power plants and perchlorate cars. Sure it'll be useful as rocket fuel, but I think it'll be more aggressively used for oxygen, and people will fight over it for Oxygen. It will be reminiscent of the Water Wars of the 21st century (wars currently pending). Think Total Recall

Colonization is going to be led by joint stock corporations with government-backed charters, just like North America back in the 1500s. 100 years from now we'll be complaining about Big Martian Corp. Controlling the commodities trade, and 200 years from now we'll be fighting the Martian war of Independence.

So we're going to invade, I mean liberate Mars (No war for soil!) unless, the robots take over before then.
