I think it's maybe a dust mite or some other earth bug.
Course it could also be a bug on the camera lens from the satellite taking the photo and that would be something way different also.
If it were on the moon it measures 0.70 miles x 0.78 miles or 3,457.45 x 2,452.89 feet. per google ruler. Now that's a big bug.
Last but always a chance, something the google people put in and yes they do this around holidays, just check out google chat or forums.
I do however find it very interesting and thank you taymour for sharing.

My particular favourite is the European space agency photos of The Martian Hale crater
Yep! That one is quite interesting! There has been a lot of discussion on this image, with some contending that this is the result of pixilation, compression, 3D overlay artifacts etc. Some image experts have contended that this has nothing to do with any of the above explanations. It could be the real deal!
It could be all pixilation, compression, 3D overlay artitacts etc. but it's worth a closer look...
If you visit ESA's homepage and check out the Mars Express images gallery, you will find the 2 famous Hale Crater pictures only in JPEG format

Compare also the small size of those Hale crater JPEG images to other ones from the gallery
An excerpt of Hale crater's anomalies when converted into alpha-channel

I made some videos about crater Hale last year (Full HD 1080p)

This is the one image on the original post that i can't wrap my head around....
To me this is the best proof that there is something artificial on the moon surface.
The tower is so clear....and the surroundings seems to have some architecture too..
Has there been any in-depht analysis on this image?
