I am surprised the media hasn't taken this story up.

in the middle of watching it now so i may answer my own question but why cnt this kid of had sum sort of disease or failed genome etc? for example jason vorhees in the friday 13th films had some sort of real disease that fooks ur face up

right just showed the other half the vid, who is a biomed student heres what she said,

lol its a child with a genetic disorder which causes the bones to be very brittle and malformed, they usually dont live much longer than 18 months, but some do and there have been recent children with simliar facial shapes that have lived.

The thickness of the skull is irrelevant.

noone need to take that much for DNA analysis thats insane,

the electrophoresis images looked wrong too they didnt look like proper finger printing,

and to top it off they use pictures of that skull in cytogenetics as evidence of a disease, and for genetically affected conditions such as mutations and such.

anyway thats what she said

and P.S Pindz can she be on ur possible reptilian list please she said it sounds fun

Why does this surprise you? These skulls have been found around the world, as well as the bones of giants, but they are in no museums. These remains destroy the status quo of the evolutionary theory ( :vomit: ) which almost every other field of science is based upon. Of course things like these are suppressed or at least not reported on to the 'general' public.

Lloyd Pye spoke at Leeds university about this subject. Present at the lecture were some people from the local media; but I take you point about it not getting national coverage.

I have been following with Lloyd Pye this amazing skull, and it is NOT a deformed human skull.

@Smokeydog: Tell your friend the skull thickness is far from brittle and even broke several cutting tools to gain sample access. Yet, it IS half the thickness of human bone.

Lloyd has been searching for scientific verification for this skull for many years now and the differences are SO obvious, yet they always cry "DNA, DNA!!"

Well, there is no common match to existing DNA samples, SO, it will not appear on any known record.

Therefore the cry of DNA is technically invalid as well as this skull has no existing match to compare, as that is how DNA is verified.

All of the current skeptics and debunkers have no foundation on this one, so it is up to Lloyd to singlehandedly identify this unique anomaly.

This has already been long debunked. I find it hilarious how much cherry-picking you guys do on here. You'll denounce science as being a monolith of conformity and liars when scientific evidence fails to confirm your biases, but then you'll latch onto the first piece of pseudoscience that does confirm your biases.

You have to pick one. Either science provides insight into reality or it doesn't.

Lloyd Pye is not a geneticist. He's not even a biologist, much less a forensic anthropologist, which he pretends to be in his videos and his website. He's trained in psychology and works as an author. Sorry, psychologists don't learn genetics. They don't even learn basic chemistry, which is required for a solid understanding of genes and genetic analysis. If anything, Pye's background should tell you he's only good at two things: making things up (sci-fi author) and convincing dimwits it's true (psychology).

Where's Pye's genetic sequencing? You can do a BLAST search on NCBI without having the gene sequence already in hand. You know, these supposed "unknown alien sequences." By the way, anyone can do a BLAST search. It's free, because your taxes pay for the program. And you can punch in any nonsense sequence and get a "No Significant Results Found" page.

Furthermore, how did these "geneticists" get the skull to cut so cleanly if it kept breaking their tools? Have you seen those cuts? They're almost perfect. This tells me most of you haven't done any work with shop tools, and Pye's counting on your couch-potato status to never pick up on that common sense fact.

Those cuts are also ridiculously huge: as someone already noted here, you do NOT need that much skull to analyze DNA. Especially if you're using PCR, which is the only way Pye could have gotten those clear fragments on the gel analysis. BTW, to get gel signals that distinct, you need to amplify the genes with PCR (if you don't know what this is, then you don't understand the basics of genetic analysis - you cannot reasonably say you know for sure that Pye is giving you definitive scientific data, because you don't know how to interpret any of it). In order to do PCR, you must know the sequence of the genes being amplified beforehand. So either Pye is lying about knowing what these "alien" sequences are (in which case, why isn't he sharing them with the rest of us?) or these are known sequences, and could probably be found in a BLAST search with no problem. (The primers required to do PCR are a pain in the ass to make - I seriously doubt a psychologist could make the primers, and if he did not make them, that means he had to order them premade somewhere.)

Really, though, all of this boils down to plain stupidity. That people on here really think that geneticists would ignore true alien DNA is beyond me. Geneticists want to discover new things. If alien DNA were really found, geneticists would kill each other for a chance to look at the data. They would learn new things about evolution, biochemistry, biotechnology, physiology, anatomy - in short, it would mean Nobel Prizes and instant PhDs. NASA would not be hurting for funding - in fact, it might very well become the most funded government agency in America if we discovered alien DNA.

None of that's been happening. So let's just use Occam's Razor here: (1) Starchild is really the skull of a child who had hydrocephalus. Or (2) Starchild is a genetically designed alien-human hybrid who was planted in a human mother surrogate for the purpose of... something... important... that required transgenically fusing the DNA of a hyper-intelligent, galaxy-traveling species with a bunch of pseudo-apes who could only use wood and stone tools.

Or here's a better one: (1) Lloyd Pye is a super-spy who was trained in psychology but who also secretly worked for the CIA as a geneticist, forensic anthropologist, biometrician, physicist, and biotechnologist; his work as a one-man science laboratory revealed the earth-shattering secret that he was given a skull of an alien-human hybrid child which he uncracked using his keen powers of intellect and analysis. Or (2) Lloyd Pye is a conman whose pseudoscientific jargon just sold some more of his (badly written) books.
