most definately advanced civilization around 9,000 to 13,000 b.c.the ice age is a different matter.i don't believe there was one.with all the data i have,i'd need to start another thread.i love the ancient/underwater/inner earth stuff.thanx to all for some sweet info.

There are obviously gaps in our historical timeline, and i think some ancient civilisations were more sophisticated than presently believed but they werent all that advanced, sure they knew how to use ropes and wood a lot better than we do but they were in no way as advanced as we are.
Around 12k yrs ago when the ice melted a lot of land was lost to the sea, we pull up evidence of this from the English Channel on a regular basis, but weve never pulled up ancient M&S plastic bags for a reason they werent advanced enough even to know how to make plastic bags.

so you dont think its even remotely possible that there have been more advanced civilizations on the planet before us?. and im not talking about 12000 years ago or even 20000 years ago . im talking like in the past million years or more . I think it is just as likely that there were highly advanced civs as there wasnt. we have no way of knowing that forsure.

Do i think its possible, sure why not, do i think its plausable... no.
About a million yrs ago was about the time of Homo erectus and Homo habilis these are our ancestors and they werent advanced, there were no civilisations pumping out pollutants like expected from an advanced civilisation(no evidence in trees or ice cores,) no physical evidence of an advanced civilisation no plastics or composite metals ever found anywhere.
I do think ancient civilisations were more capable than we give them credit for but to suggest that they were advanced(technically in the way our civilisation is) theres no evidence at all of this, and plenty of evidence to suggest they werent.

I would have to disagree on there not being ANY evidence. There is the discovery of ruins which have highly radiated skeletons and artifacts which lay in the streets of this ancient city . which scientist claim to be more radiated than the fallout from nag and hero. Implying ancient nuclear power.
There are giant 1000 ton blocks in lebanon which scientist claim to be the foundation from a far more ancient civ, that ancient lebonese have built on. you cant move 1000 ton blocks with ropes. id have to see it to believe it. Let alone The 70-80 ton granit blocks in the kings chamber at giza . There are just as many arguments on both sides of the fence. And until modern man replicates the pyramids and other anomalous structures around the world using the same techniques as they claim they were built . i have no other choice but to believe they new something far more advanced than we currently do. Im leaning more towards somehow being able to harness power directly from the earth. sacred geometry and the knowledge of tetrahedrons and the like. Many structures around the world , (many of them pyramids), are built on these hot zones .
