U.S. Department of Labor issued a report Tuesday suggesting the crisis is primarily the result of millions of Americans just completely blowing their job interviews.
The number of unemployed could be reduced from 14.6 million to 5 million if everyone simply greeted potential employers with firmer handshakes, maintained eye contact, and stopped fiddling so much.
"If applicants would just say yes when asked if they played softball or liked golf, we could add 350,000 jobs to the private sector," Deputy Labor Secretary Seth Harris said.
"The fact is, right now, today, approximately a third of the country's manufacturing positions are vacant. Auto plants across the country, especially in Detroit, are sitting there just waiting for people to come in and build cars."
President Obama said the legislation would also address joblessness by creating a $1.2 billion program aimed at training Americans to use body language.

9.6 million unemployed people can't stop fiddling with themselves at interviews. What's the world coming to?!

Agreed Jones, they contradict themselves,
by wanting you to be yourself at the interview,
which is difficult in a formal setting and clothes,
especially with questions being thrown at you with a lot at stake.
But the premise of the article,
that it's people bad at doing interviews,
being blamed for the economic climate,
to me is frankly fuckin outrageous !!
What utter

It's from The Onion dude. It's a mock article use to point out the idiotic reasoning the US gov uses to clear themselves of blame for various issues.

Phew, I was hoping that was the case.
I honestly wasn't sure but I appreciate you saying.
I am relieved and can relax again.
p.s. Hi Sep
Only best advice is, BE YOURSELF and have no fear whatsoever.
If you're applying for the job then I reckon that you know how to do what that job title demands, else why apply?
What can you offer? Dedication, hows that?

SKEPTIC - One who instinctively or habitually doubts, questions, disagrees with assertions or generally accepted conclusions. And tries to prove these assertions/claims with scientific facts.
