I'm sure you can do better.

This was all hand held actually. If I put the camera on a tripod, I'm sure the focus would be better.

No man, credit where credit is due..

My lenses wont pull that off.
Youre ready to start selling.
Get the whole bug in the frame, and leave it off center so art directors can put type next to or around the image, and i bet youd start selling images immediately.

no lie.

I know. I'm doing "super macro". It's hard to get the bug in there when I gotta focus so close up.

I had the aperture to high on the grasshopper. It was at 11. Should have used 22.

But I just wanted his face really.

Nono you dont have to have the whole thing in focus.
Just Always keep the face or interesting part in focus..
(and then dont worry about the rest)

just get the whole BUG in the frame.
(this is so the art director can control where they crop it.)

(I see what you mean..this advice isnt for long bugs like that grasshopper horizontal shot..just the rest..)

Try this..it works REALLY well..
Pop up your onboard flash..set camera to manual..
Set the flash (on manual) at half or full power...and set the f-stop to its highest...
f22 or 32, depending on focal length. iso @ 100 always.

You will trip the fuck out at what gets lit up and captured..
(although some of yours are so clear you may already be doing that..but if not try it..)

Youre doing awesome ..im jealous actually.

:yell: :yell: :shooting: :bang; :hell:
