At least one US serviceman has been arrested for allegedly planning another attack on Fort Hood military base in Texas.
According to Fox News, one AWOL soldier is in the custody of the Killeen Police Department near Ft. Hood.
He was not reportedly captured on base.
Two other US soldiers were also reportedly arrested earlier today, found to be in possession of weapons and explosives.
Fox New has obtained the names of three possible suspects, but is currently withholding that information.
On November 5, 2009, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, an American Army officer, carried out a shooting attack on the Ft. Hood base that killed 13 people and wounded 30 others.
Hasan, a military psychiatrist, is currently standing trial. His civilian lawyer withdrew from the case as it began.

U.S. soldier near Fort Hood arrested with bomb materials

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - A missing U.S. Army soldier is expected to face federal charges on Thursday after he was arrested with "bomb-making material" in his hotel room near Fort Hood, Texas, a local FBI agent said.
The soldier, Jason Abdo Nassar, was absent without leave from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and was arrested on Wednesday in the city of Killeen, Texas, which is near Fort Hood, said Eric Vasys, FBI special agent in San Antonio.
"Whatever threat Mr. Nassar posed yesterday has been eliminated and mitigated, and there was nothing to indicate he was acting with anyone else," said Vasys.
Fort Hood was the scene of a deadly shooting by an Army psychiatrist in 2009.
