According to a report released by Mission Readiness, obesity is the most common edical reason that potential recruits are disqualified from service in US Army. The report titled "Still Too Fat To Serve" says increasing obesity could be a challenge to national security as fewer and fewer people are eligible to keep up with the physical demands of the service. Apparently Pentagon spends around a million dollars a year on medical care for weight-related health problems. To talk more about the obesity matter in US military, RT's Liz Wahl is joined by Katherine Mangu-Ward of the Reason.
