Vatican calls for global authority on economy, raps “idolatry of the market”

VATICAN CITY, Oct 24 (Reuters) - - The Vatican called on Monday for the establishment of a "global public authority" and a "central world bank" to rule over financial institutions that have become outdated and often ineffective in dealing fairly with crises.

Have to ask the question about Vatican City financial situation. Every country seems to be in financial shit but no one has mentioned the Vatican states financial situation.

Are they in debt.? If not then why not.? The true answer to that might show how corrupt or connected the Vatican and therefore the pope is....

There appears to be some sort of lie being put upon us. If you know the Hail Mary there is a line "Hail Mary, Mother of God" Flag n the play! I thought the following and please correct me if I'm wrong; Is not Lucifer the Son of God, Jesus is the Son of Man, Mary mother of Jesus and also Wife to Jesus? Who and when did the Roman Catholic Church give deity status to Mary, and under who/what authority? Does not the Bible state Thou shall have no other Gods before Me? So, how does/did Mary fit into this lie? Jesus said "in order to be with God you have to go through me and only me" or something to that effect.

@Richc The Vatican in debt is like telling the world that there is no oil in Alaska. They've got tons and that's why I left the church! Tell me every Sunday to give give give and none of the giving is going to help my brothers and sisters, my neighbors in Africa. Instead there's Papal Bullshit spun out through their public relations personnel. Their Ten Commandment they've violated in the word of Who? Surely not the creator as he stated "thoul shall not kill" so the church should un-ass their wealth and put their money where their mouth is and do what they swore their oath to God to do and that is take care of those that are less fortunate. Not sit on a pot of gold as in the bible it states in Mathew 10 6 that is is wrong to be paid for teaching the word of God.
