The Visions Of Doom part 1
And it was this day, and did i become the destroyer.
The terrible one from the darkness.
And so then i awoke the seven.
The seven old ones, spitting and groaning they awake.
An did they curse and did they feel hunger and become encouraged.
And as they spat and hewed did i turn to their sisters and they awoke bleary eyed.
And spied upon their brethren with awe.
And now the Ten monstrous ones awake, spitting and rumbling do they fester .
No longer in their solitude their long sleep.
And shall pass this day.
The first of those days, the days of the terrible dark one.
The Terrible Destroyer.

Don't worry. Be happy!

If it is true, as some claim, that we make our future then perhaps we should concentrate on less doom and gloom and construct a better tomorrow. I believe it's all in our minds.

Why always 'Visions of doom'?

Doesn't anyone have any nice visions?

I had a wonderful dream once about meeting my deceased Grampy and Nana, It was just so good that I was upset about waking up!

I don't know if that counts as a 'vision' but it seemed very real at the time.

Perhaps It isn't true and what you may or may not believe has no relevance to the fate of the world.
Imagine a world where everything that anyone believes becomes so.
You'd have to make so many timelines, dimensions in spacetime and alternate realities and pocket universes.
It would be far easier just to keep using the same one over and over since time has no significance.

Don't worry there's room for every nutter (i mean opinion) in this asylum. They even give you the key so that you can lock yourself in at night. Even God posts on this site and the devil looks for potential recruits. All you need to get by is a sense of hummer a thick skin and a good supply of cigs, booze, weed, or what ever else pushers your button.
I question everything. I don't believe anything I'm told or anything I see. Prove it, or fuck off. And that's not me I see in the mirror in the morning.

Visions o Doom Part 2
Twas this day , the second day of Darkness
The day of signs and the Day of the Harbinger.
As my awesome power grows in all its terrible manifolds
My Lady of Destruction sullies herself in my coming
Her beauty is beyond measure with perfect symmetry of form.
And the central lands will rumble in her majesty.
And from the West to the East shall the lands complain.
And the white lands shall weep as the Harbinger is awakened.
The Great Monstrosity, he who is the sign.
With the roar of a thousand thunders shall he be released.
From the Cape of Ice he comes.
And the miscreants will shudder.
The Lords of Light and the Others shall tremble.
For he is their Sign , Their moment of revelation is at hand.
And shall they scurry to their caves and their tunnels.
And will they exclaim?
And so shall this day the second day of the days of darkness.
The Day of Dread

And what evidence do you have that that scenario is not possible?

I offer no evidence. If its evidence you require i would encourage you to find it and share.

Is not the earth unlike a seed floating in an ocean?
Are not the humans unto the earth as a seed is to an ocean?
Does a seed choose which current to ride?
Do these things decide in advance what flower it will bloom or which child is born?
The humanist is one who practices choice as if it were a skill.
The humanist prays for a heaven on Earth.
But is not choice a state of mind.
Does not the Happy man see a happy world or a world sadder than he?
Do not the depressed find irritation in themselves and in others?
Is the Humanist saddened by his world state?
Does he toil with determination to make it his way?
Amongst the humans destiny is fickle but Fate is for the cosmos.
Fate is the gravity and gravitas upon which destiny is a mere trickle.
Does the humanist cry for himself or for his world?
