When I saw how that woman was devoured in the Rammstien video and how she was no longer what she started out as I was able to separate the dark romantic wanderings and replace it with the truth of a complete predator.

Many do have a fascination with that which we call "the dark side" but I have found that light can shine in the dark.

I would not want to "give" myself to feed an energy that is self serving only so it isn't really such mental struggle at all once we become awarel!

UNderstanding, absorbing and even to an extent, embracing your dark side in order to subdue it is one thing, but the message in both the necronomicon and the satanic bible are EXTREMELY misleading, although they set it up as a simple means for you to express your will to power...to influence your external envirnment to your own advantage...They ultimately encourage the worship of self to the EXCLUSION of a greater ideal.

The premise being, that Fear is caused by the fear of the effects of sin on the soul, and if you flagrantly denounce the Power of Christ, and "Do what thou Wilt shall be the whole of the Law" then they are supposing you are becoming MORE human an overcoming the spiritual law of selflessness..which these Satanic Churches denounce as the greatest Flaw of traditional spirituality...Fear. (which in a paradoxical way is true, but not how they propose it)

By willfully denouncing the fear of sin they presume that you will have absorbed your dark side, and no longer suffer the need to suppress it...(when in fact it is your duty to OVERCOME it..not suppress it...and THAT is the FLAW of those churches)...There is something to be said for not being afraid of your own dark side..but that comes with a caveat. Sometimes we are not in control of what forms our subconscious take when we face it, and THAT lends itself to appearing external. And THAT lends itself to become an object of worship..since it contains power.

But the problem comes, as it does in ALL religions..that the subconscious is a might mighty power..and to access it directly, OFTEN has undesirable outcomes.

the simple analogy would be, and the advice i would give, is that unless you are in such great control of your subconscious that you can lucid dream AT WILL EVERY TIME, no matter what..and have no dream that appears as though you are simply the actor instead of creator, then it is best NOT to ask these things to come into your life, or to show themselves, at the risk that they appear, fell, and act as if they have an external life.

Now, if you are in total control of your inner and outer self to the point that you can consciously will control in any and all dreaming, then you are at risk of not being able to control whatever you call up. If you cannot control every second of your dreams, then there are elements of your subconscious not accessible or controllable by the conscious 'you'.

And yes, they can feel as real as flesh to some.

I agree that either there is some major manipulation going on or a conceded effort to upset the balance take that which can be taken.
