Website performance tweaks - faster DTV

Greetings,

We have made several performance tweaks in the last 48 hours. The load of the server cluster has decreased significantly. Everybody should enjoy a slightly faster DTV now!

It does seem to feel that bit faster.

But can you tweak my HD Videos please.
This one for instance http://www.disclose.tv/action/viewvideo/28267/Disclose_T_V__Theme/
Just buffers all the while,the embedded videos work fine elsewhere.Just my HD ones don't seem to play on the channel page.

Yes, when this happens it means the Moov atom is at the end of the movie, so
the movie does not start until it's fully buffered. This has to do with the way
the video was encoded. It should be saved for the web so the Moov atom is at the
beginning of the movie, otherwise if the movie was not saved for the web then
the Moov atom may be at other location and not necessary at the beginning.

This Adobe AIR application should help you move the Moov atom to the beginning of the movie:

It would be awesome if the video search bar at the bottom would disappear after a few seconds after pressing play

Would also be great if you can skip videos without loading the whole thing, I've been trying to watch something that keeps messing up at the end and its 67mins or something, highly annoying.

Just some suggestions

Kindy, what video search bar at the bottom?

Skipping videos would probably be possible in a future release of the player.

When you full screen videos it would look awesome if the bar at the bottom vanished, basically lol

What I find interesting with regard to the "eye" feature is that typically an issue that is discussed on here with regard to the NWO, an all seeing eye and pyramid are used archetypically. Since all of us here at disclose appear to rally behind the notion that the NWO is a bad thing and thus the symbol is because its used to represent this issue: why do we continue to use similar imagery?

Is there a deeper issue here with regard to symbology?
