No idea, the lines seem to go under geographical features too, there is a lot round there that just does not resolve decently where as a few degrees off and it is fine. The are two "runways" there that do not resolve well either as well as what looks like an aqueduct (it isn't though) as well as a few other oddities at 40'29"03 N and 93'29"37 they look 2 dimensional/painted on with it being visible through land. I am no expert on google earth maybe it is a common effect???
