Maybe just pasta with meat sauce.

That''s the way I am at least, doesn't really matter what it is, if I have prepared it, I typically am not hungry for it when it's done.

You're not the only one..sometimes I feel like that too. While others really enjoy the meal, I'm like, arghhh :vomit: Slaving behind an oven all day cooking can make one actually lose their appetite, not always, but in most cases for me anyway, that's why I prefer using the crock pot. :flop:

I work in a kitchen all day, I always smell like food and to be honest, the last thing I want to do when I get home is make dinner, then eat. But I do, most nights anyways. It's my curse

Oh man, I couldn't handle that, no way, lol! Working in a kitchen all day then going home to continue working in a kitchen....uh uh, bugger that!!!

Poooooot (Gawd, it is alot of o's isn't it, LOL). Anyway, thanks so much for the recipe's. Going to try them out one day! Let you know how I get on when I do! :flop:

Well I had leftover Chicken Chasseur for lunch the next day, then last night I had Whitebait Fritters , served with Coleslaw, mashed potatoes and Mint Peas... woop woop. Tonight I settled for Noodles....yes, 2 min. Noodles! ! :|

I let my girlfriend cook tonight. I'm a much better cook.

She made meatloaf, twice baked potatoes, and broccoli with cheese.

It was all pretty good.

How does she do her twice baked taters? My wife is a potato fiend

I'm still finishing cooking:

Southern fried chicken breasts & white gravy
Mashed potatoes with cheese, green onions and sour cream
Cabbege with tomato sauce & bacon

It took hours longer than I thought it would, but it's all almost ready...
Where's the beer and when do I get paid?

I didn't watch her, but I think she just baked them first, then halved them. Then scooped everything out of the skin, and made the mashed potatoes. Put it back in the skin and baked 'em again.

I think she put sour cream in the mash and I know she put cheese on top.

It came out pretty good, but I still find frying and gravy-making a little tricky - at least with the tools and knowledge I have (electric stove, cheap frying pans, etc.).

HELL YEA!!!

Need a biscuit to sop up that gravy!

I'm dining on a strawberry, almond milk, protein powder, ice smoothy - but I want what you're having!
