My wife made ham fried rice tonight, it's better than any I've ever had...

Only wish she had added cabbage.

She cooked a large bone-in ham on the grill yesterday, and it's that which is making it so damn good. That and basmati rice slightly al dente.

Damn that looks good as hell. I love fried rice. I bet I could eat that whole thing myself.

I just made a frozen pizza. Sausage. Mama Cozzi from Aldi.

Did she keep the bone from the ham? I could shoot you a great recipe for French Canadian pea soup if she did. It's a full hearty meal in itself

Hell yeah. I use the bone and ham for split pea soup. It's one of my favorites.

Every once in a while we'll get the Degeorno Pepperoni and add onions, jalapeños, sharp cheddar and parmesan, then bake it. Pretty damn good, but terrible for ya.

Oh yea! She cooks an assortment of beans with it for a day in the crock pot. She leaves a lot of ham on the bone when she does that, it's amazing stuff.

It was so cold today (freezing fog) decided to make a big pot of broth. Boiled a Ham Hock for stock, added grated carrot, grated neep (Turnip) sliced leek, and broth mix (barley, split peas, lentils) added some of the Ham diced, big bowl of that with a crusty roll for dipping, comfort food!!
