What does the Trident or the symbol of Trident indicate in hindu philosophy. It is been related with siva - and 3 gunas namely sathva, rajo, and thamas. If i am wrong, correct me. and expecting to know additional or alternate meaning of it.

In short :
All is in three over here, duality (poles) and One.
So, for instance, the father, the son and the Self ... Amen (Ra).
Or mental (head) heart, emotional (belly) heart and Spiritual (heart of hearts)

So we have this One and two (duality), that 'work' here on earth and 'make' 2+2=4 (elements/dragons/directions) and the fifth (aether)

This is the male approach, the female approach is 1,1,2,3,5,8,....
