What happens in discussions - strange reasons of taking part

People are complicated. And social by nature, even the most agoraphobic of us. Personally, I join in discussions because I honestly want to have dialogue with other people who are interested in the same kinds of things I'm interested in. Or because sometimes it's funny to screw with folks. And mostly I'm on this board during the daytime because I'm a working artist and I'm at home every day, and I'm waiting on shit to dry and I have to occupy myself or I'll get impatient and start messing with it and fuck it up.

Are you an extension of me?

I feel the same way - and I am a working artist as well (but I suck, pays the bills though).

I'm sure if it pays the bills you don't suck as bad as you think. Though I think as artists we are somehow obligated to think that we suck. I'm grateful that my job allows me to sit an a room and play with my toys all day personally.
