Was a great episode. Pretty much all of the next generation are still better then most of what is on television today, and they are all still using graphics tech that STTNG developed.
Except the 4th episode Code of honor, I think collectively it is questioned as to Why it was even filmed.
Honestly this sort of question is more suited for starwars as their scope of material is much smaller, and of lesser comparison.
Star Trek Episodes alone span 726 episodes @ 40+mins per episode, not counting the 11 movies, and animations, books etc.
Starwars is more like kindergarten, where as star trek is more like college, when considering total material hell even story line.
Starwars is meant for that epic adventure feeling dealing with the good evil paradigm. Where as startrek is includes not only epic adventure but discovery of the unknown.
DS9 did a great episode on the trouble with tribbles

But its hard to pick a favorite!
It's the episode where Sisko makes a faustian pact with Garek to draw the Romulans into the war with the Dominion, and is basically tricked into committing a false flag attack that murders a ship full of innocents to do it.
Thats the one where the Enterprise suddenly appears in earths atmosphere and they are spotted by a fighter aircraft. They try to pull the Starfighter with the tractor beam and end up blowing it up. Then they have to beam the pilot on board to save him.
kinda relevant all things considered...wormholes=mh370
