Not sure about chrome, but I had nearly the same thing with IE (cept it wasn't letting me use google services at all (No searches/google-groups/email.... nothing)
Tried resetting chrome already i suppose? just in case http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/an ... swer=95582

Well, hate to say :( .... But could be a dirty little redirect virus (that's what i had). Are you sure your at youtube? Check to see if the web address begins with https:// (shows your connection to the website is encrypted).

Pain in the bum if you have. I was down about a week :top: :top: :top:
Hope not, but in just case, this will help http://www.googleredirectvirusguide.com/
