There seems to be something going on in this area. I have seen two ufo's within 24hrs, coming from near the Gt Orme towards the Craig-y-don area. I am a resident of Llandudno but live away most of the time. However, whenever I come back, I see UFO's?

Just after christmas I had seen a white orb travel quickly across the sky near Llandudno Junction/Deganwy (2-3 mile away from Llandudno). Even my skeptical step dad had to question what it was.

Yesterday (12th march 2010) around 7:30pm I saw a light travelling high above my house when walking down my drive, and today (13th) the same light travelling in a different direction with varying speeds.

It is a single light/orb with a red tinge. There is no flashing lights or any sound (helicopters/planes) and I have ruled out chinese lanterns as they are travelling too fast. The Gt Orme is a hill/mountain in Llandudno and is considered a UFO hotspot in the Uk. My friends were driving on the Orme and have reported seeing what I have seen one night last year, all 3 people said they saw the same thing, an orb like light.

Why isnt any stories being reported in this area? does anyone know anything about it?

Im living in Rowen,near Conwy.
Many nights i look into the sky and see the same things you do,and many more like it. In the last 3 to 4 weeks,activity in the sky's over north wales is getting very high. Iv seen huge balls of light red or orange in colour. One was seen by my girlfriend that was deep blue,(i missed that one)all of them stop still for a while then gently move off but with high speed,very smooth motion.Its not stars or planes. Some nights i can see what looks looks like shooting stars,the only problem there is that the shooting stars are coming from the ground and going up into the sky.
Its getting strange out there.

That is very interesting, it seems to me reading other people's posts that sightings are eveywhere, especially the one about Ireland (people getting in touch with the local radio reporting what weve both seen over the skys of Ireland).

Rowen must be one of the best places to see it as its away from the lights of the town, is there any photos/videos you have taken of them? its very odd that you say your girlfriend saw a blue one as theres not many cases of a blue ufo.

For me it started on New Year's eve. I was in Liverpool and me and my friend funnily enough were walking down penny lane around 10pm and saw one fly across the street. (although it could have well been a chinese lantern being New year)

I saw one before christmas driving along the carriageway towards the the black cat roundabout from Llandudno to the Junction. It was moving fairly slowly from llandudno towards us. Me and my stepdad were discussing what it was, we couldnt say what it was. He is very skeptical and went through the list of things it could have been. It suddenly shot around 2-3 miles from a relatively medium sized yellow ball to a very small ball in the direction of llandudno from the Llandudno Junction. When we got out of the car at our destination, he was looking around in the sky, almost doing it in a secretive manner.

Then I saw two last Weekend on a trip home. I looked up above my house (near west shore) walking down my drive and saw one fly gracefully from left to right. The next time was when I was in my lounge and saw the same object fly from the Gt Orme towards Craig Y Don. I went outside the back garden though and couldnt see it.

They have all been yellowish orb like objects with a red tinge sometimes. There is never any sound.

I think we should perhaps start taking pictures/videos of them if we see them again and post them on here. How often and when did you see these objects? what time of day? etc.

Well all i can say is its getting hot out there.
Around 9, 10 o clock tonight 19.03.10 you may of heard the jets flying around from the RAF vally near holyhead. They were going crazy. I ran up stairs and looked out of my window.There must have been half dozen jets in the sky. At first they just looked like little red dots untill they come closer. Anyway i go my binoculars to watch. When i did i could see the jets following each other, (nothing stange there) but as they came screaming closer i could see that there was a smaller white dot in front of the jets. It was moving dam fast. To me it looked like these jets where following it all over the place,for about an hour,then they all went over the mountains and never came back.
It was very strange to see. New toy they got? Not sure! but it was stange. Did you see or here anything?

Im online most nights and i check this site most nights.
Iv got a camera but its not good at taking pics at night or small objects. Iv got a telescope and im soon getting a new camera for the telescope,so it should be good.Then all i need is a video camera,which i must get,as there seems to be plenty to film. Dont you worry,as soon as i got the equipment i will be uploading all sorts.
Most of what i see is at around 9 30pm and onwards after work.
Most of what i see are the shooting stars going up.I must film them soon.

Nice to see wales getting represented, I am from the southern parts of wales. I could tell you some stories, alas they would be just that. I have never collected evidence above my own senses & memory. But all I can say is, if you are interested in UFO's and you live in wales.. do yourself a favour and look up

I was away at University around that time im afraid, but sounds very interesting. I have seen jets fly low through Snowdonia before but just assumed it was training.

I would suggest (although could be expensive) buying a camera with infra-red abilities as they can track heat. Many UFO's have been caught using this technology. I think you may be able to rent from some places. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpEsPDMFH70&feature=fvw but if not a camera that can trap alot of light.

Im thinking perhaps there is a link with mountains and UFO's. I remember seeing a documentary on the BBC about a place in America, might be Washington state, where people have filmed UFO's going into mountains. The fact you see shooting stars going up could suggest a link with the ground and UFO's.

I've seen things, I'l quickly sum up.
Either the (whatever they are) ones where they are in a fixed position like the stars, but watching them for a while I've seen one solid white light seperate into two and both dissapear shortly after.
Others (and again I'm not saying it's aliens, or even craft ..it's just something weird I've seen) tend to appear to be rotating/skewing in a certain area but definitely not still like the stars around it.

Aside from them the main things I've seen have been an orb of light changing colour, pretty much you name the colour it changed into it. The changes were very quickly but the orb moved slowly so we (myself and others that's right this wasn't in my head) watched it for almost an hour

cheers, that seems pretty similar to whats being broadcast live at the minute!! I watched a live webcam of the eruptions taking place in Iceland. If you tune in at night you see orbs moving around the sky and into and out of the volcanoes :s I even recorded what I saw here:
