UFOs are nothing you believe in... they are always there as UFO are simply "Unidentified Flying Objects" which could be anything from a plane to a fucking garbage bag flying in the sky....

i never said anything about believing just why you were interested in them

Ever since I saw one on my way to work 13 years ago
It looked like a star at first but then it shot straight up in the sky ,stopped then zipped east at amazing speed. ever since its got me guessing as to who or what it was.

that's an interesting question. the answer, for me personally, is that i can't put a specific timeframe to my awareness of/interest in ufos. i seem to remember always being interested in space, but more the nasa side.
some time ago i suddenly remembered a ufo experience that had happened 20 or more years earlier, around the time my general interest in the subject was picking up. i found myself reading dozens of ufo books over a relatively short space of time, and watching any tv shows about aliens etc. i still do come to think of it.
i think ufology is one of those things that, if it 'gets' you, it gets you good. you can't turn back.
