theres still plenty going on yu55 for one and honda and dont forget the sun spot activity going thruogh the roof and the littel problem thats following elinin its more of a concern than elinin was all the time ?????? :cheers:

I agree. I fell for this doom and gloom BS as well. And the whole going through the tail in late October stuff? What tail? The thing wasn’t ever even naked eye visible. I was living in Southern California when that happened and you could see the comet, tail and all, every night for months. A bunch of Saturnian worship nuts in a cult in Rancho California, twenty miles from my house, committed suicide because of that comet. And, nothing happened then either. Fact is, any comet which holds any threat to us can be shot out of space long before it poses us ANY threat. Fact, again, is that we are a Tier One, or Type One, Society and we can indeed control many things in space. When I lived in California in the early nineties, I interviewed a guy who worked at the Ontario Lockheed Skunkworks, and he told me they had three aircraft in a top secret program (Aurora) that all could take off from a runway fly up into space, perform in outer space, and come back for a soft, controlled landing. Two were unmanned and one was manned. I’ve seen one of these craft (the manned one) take off. It went up at a 60% angle after take off and was gone in seconds. That was in the early nineties. Come on, folks, wake up from this stupor. Go back to school, read a book, turn off the TV, and get a job in the sciences, and you’ll see.
