I know it does exist right now. But when I say can it exist can it exist on a large scale. say about the scale that fear and hate exist on now. And if so how can this be accomplished?

sure it can.....love is like a wildfire each of us has a match all we have to do is spark it up and let it blaze.in reality if all of us would be as concerned for love as we do all these other things(pick one)we would overtake every form of hate and fear.when we look at all the topics we all bring to the table each answer in one way or the other is solved with love.so if we understand what can defeat fear and hate we should focus on that...there's victory.it all starts with touching individual lives and letting it spread simple. getting started is the most difficult part but once it goes it goes fast and strong then soon love wins....keep it simple and watch it turn into something overwhelming and powerful. :hiho:

Ok, so hypothetically speaking.... Love is all around us, and people seem happy, what about jealousy? What if 2 guys love the same woman and get into an altercation over her? Someone is going to lose, because I highly doubt they will share. It just seems to me that in order to gain, something must be lost and it's just a cycle that repeats.

1 Corinthians 13
Love
1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

"The greatest degree of inner tranquility comes from the development of love and compassion. The more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being.”– Tenzin Gyatso, 14th Dalai Lama
