The way it was suposed to work was when Tony Blair left b4 his term was up the deputy prime took over Gordon Brown, An he decided that hes not gonna give up the job an wont call an election and has said he may not call one till 2010. We dont get a choice anymore apparently.

the day gordon 'face ache' brown took over marked publically at least, the day good ol blighty decided to become a facist society. shit, just look whats happened since, part nationialization of the banks with the goverment now threatening to nationalize EVERY bank (according to bbc2 newsnight last night).

the one thing that boils my cabbage is the fact that brown wasnt even the deputy prime minister at the time, prezza was and surely he should of taken over... things would of been a hell of alot better, he would of devoured the credit crunch in one sitting, thinking it was a breakfast cereal from kellogs.

life in the uk is so fucking difficult atm, especially for me... im unemployed, i have no debt and im still having to rob peter to pay paul just to keep my head above water.... i recently fell into 2 months worth of arrears with paying my water bill... i tried explaing to my water supplier my dire financial situatuion, to which they said pay up in 7 days or we are taking it our of your dole money or cutting you off... 7 days to pay, i had no money whatsoever and no 'dole money' income for the next 11 days.

now my water supplier are taking their money out of my benefits for the next B4 i even get them, not just the money i owe them, but every furture payment for the next 3 years.... making my predicament even worse than it originally was. all this just under £60 worth of arrears.

thanks northumbrian water, u really came to my assistance there... u helped me when i needed it the most... NOT !... ive never owed them any money b4, never fallen more than 1 month in arrears without paying double the next and they still threatened to cut my water off... the bastards wont even give me a straight answer why they heavilly flouridate the water and why i dont have the option to choose a non-flouridated supply.

u might think ive getting away from the point a little there with my water supply rant, nopes it bring me nicely to what pissing me off so much atm with the uk gov...

at the start of the credit crunch, or rather, when the goverment FINALLY admitted there was one, gordon brown and his chancellor, allister 'thunderbird 2' darling promised time and time again that they were going to be helping the most vunerable people and those 'at risk'... people like me, single, unable to to work and with no other source of income except their benefits and the even more at risk such as the elderly etc.... its not like ive went stupid and got me a stupidly oversized morgage and thats why im skipping meals to make my food last just like some of the idiots out there... i just need help with the a couple of the basics in life a supposidly you'd come to expect from a 1st world society... energy and water!

i havent recieved any extra help at all, not even a form to fill in from the dole asking me about my situation, or any leaflets offering me any advice on what help and assistance that im entitled too..... they are full of shit !!

brown has tried to play the global hero, the saviour of the financial system for all... what a fucking prick he is, he cant even get his own backyard in order.

should brown be pm ? no fucking way, u cant be pm cos your m8 promised u one night, it doesnt work like that does it ?

the mans incompitant as pm imo, but whats the alternative ? tony fucking blair mkII aka david cameron... a man with even less political experience than a wet fart. kinda similar to whats happened in the US in a way.... come the next election, we just might be sticking a fucking noob in charge. at least barrak obama knows how to breath properly, brown looks like hes faking it.... watch when hes on telly next giving a speech, youll see what i mean

huge1234 everyone I talk to is in the same position financially as yourself, no consolation though when your going through it. It looks like the those who are on really low incomes or relying on benefits are getting hit the hardest at the moment :top:

I mean, look at all the pensioners struggling like hell, some cant afford basic heating and are skipping meals too ffs for what?!?!?! We as a nation have allowed it to get like this, the few of us that aren't brainwashed can see it for what it is, and its kinda scary to know that its only going to get worse... much worse. The world is falling apart big time not just the UK and I can't see it getting better. No other country would sit back and take this shite, the people would be out in the streets demanding something is done :bang;

even my parents are having to dip into their savings every week to keep going, theyre in there 50s and have worked all their lives, not in high paid jobs either... they both work for the local council... a sparky and a scrubber respectively. combined their wages and they still make less than the uk ave of £25,000 a year.

itll not be long for people who are better off than my parents for them to be same situation financially... itll not be long now before everyone is in the same boat, forcing all to make a stand against it.

i just hope i dont have to go pinching tatties from farmers fields like my parents had to in the 60s & early 70s when they were kids.... even tho i know this time is gonna be more severe than then.

having said that, theres plenty of stray dogs and gypo's horses round here... and i am to a partial barby

I was watching the news the other night an it was the house of commons a debate about the Economic crisis (i would normaly never watch this pap but i was stoned an lost the remote an gettin up to look for it just wasnt gonna happen :ohno:

lol) anyway the lib dems actualy seemed to be on our side they were saying instead of lowering the VAT by 2.5% or whatever the amasingly crappy solution they had was :bullshit:

, The libs were saying weve all this land prepared for building on why dont we build some council houses this would stimulate the economy vastly by making jobs and also thered be more houses that we desperatly need. This seemed like a great idea to me but the lib dems were basicaly getting laughed at for saying this even the speaker wasnt paying attension to them, It seems to me this "crisis" could easily be averted but theres no real intrest in making things better i think we need to get rid of every politician and all ppl at the top of large companys and start again.
