Maybe the question should be "why do all the Recent alien movies have evil aliens?"
but i do see what your talking about. it does seem like a prep or something. Maybe they just sending messages through the movies on when to show us how far advanced alien\government technology is compared to what they sell the rest of the people.

I tend to agree,..the bulk of sci-fi films always show Aliens as 'evil/bad guys'..you have to see through this agenda & imo do the opposite. Seeing & hoping for goodness to ebb out into space or be star-travelers.

Avatar imo was sort of getting there..it was a warning that the corporations want to terraform/steal other planets assets. All in the name of a flag run by; the military..

We have to make major strides to world peace on our planet. Before we can travel-the-stars.
