I don't believe in "God", "The Source" or whatever else people want to call it. Makes no sense to the way I perceive the world. However, if other people want to believe in something that's just fine with me as long as they don't hurt others to further their own beliefs (whatever those beliefs happen to be).

Perhaps some sort of deity exists, perhaps not - I think it's futile to try and prove it one way or another since all "proof" is subjective and people read into these things what they want to believe (and already do).

The premise that i put forward is that Atheism cannot be favored over any single philosophical view.Atheism is reductive in application and is unsuitable for defining meaning as it would disregard anything which adds complexity to the relationship of self and reality.It also disregards any possibility of higher dimensional interactions of being, as it would be beyond the horizon of individual perception.What i find that is useful about Atheism is its ability to identify the distortion of Anthropomorphic projection of perception.Making personal,subjective conclusions that are based on human conditional perceptional states.However, Atheism then goes to far by disregarding the obvious dependent origination of all phenomena, and then states phenomena created itself for no reason!!

All conceptualizations are limited in themselves.Each of their singular failings give rise to other systems of thought to overcome these failings.These systems could be broadly divided into belief in "self" systems,and belief in "other" systems.It maybe that ultimately there is no real distinction between self and other,fundamentally!

Theism in itself,offers no explanation of the mechanics how, or what the nature of reality is,it does provide an open ended system of thought by placing "why" beyond human conception of understanding and defining humans as part of the "who" of creation.When i define theism i mean the individual,personal contact with it, and not the Institution of religion which is little more than a control mechanism over society and humanity as a whole.

I humbly suggest that Theism and Atheism take turns instead of one attempting to eliminate the other.Each view taking a step forward,alternating between the two,accepting of each other,as parts or steps in our progress forward.Theism taking the first step with Atheism taking the next step forward,that moves the agnostic body of humanity forward with the whole.But remembering that the feet and the body don't know where they are going.It is the mind or the collective consciousness of humanity that chooses where to go and even it does not know what is ahead of it!What lies ahead that is unknowable until experienced,incomprehensible until understood,ignorance until truth(that has meaning to humanity) is revealed.

We are in a place,that we did not make,learning what we do not know,to understand what we did not understand before.
