This question just came to my mind while I was out to smoke and looked
at the clear sky and the stars...
at the clear sky and the stars...

some of them are planets... they blink harder, some are galaxy's etc... They all appear different to us.
But me and my friends are wondering the same thing ones in a while, because we often go and watch the sky's at night to observe... and it remains strange every time we go and look!
So many mysteries, who knows what is out there ...

has to do with atmospheric conditions, distance to the object and it's composition.

Further away the star is the weaker the light coming to your eyes.
Weaker the light the more it is influenced by the atmosphere.
That's why planets don't blink cause they're relatively close.
Also depends if the star is in blue shift or red shift. As in moving away or moving towards us.

Alex Collier addressed this question in one of his interviews,
according to him some of these 'stars' are actually enormous starships...
Interesting explanation and of course I'd like to believe that, but so far there is little proof,
but then again, there is little proof for a lot of things
