Why do we act human, and what is acting human?

I watched this fascinating documentary yesterday and it made so much sense. I found the conclusions undeniable.
Why do we argue politics, religion, culture? Because anything outside of our comfort zone reminds us of our own mortality.
Consider this a way to look at ourselves that is far overlooked at the conscious level, but far too prevalent on the unconscious...
