Newly released documents show that UFO sightings in the UK leapt five-fold in the same year that the alien invader blockbuster Independence Day was released. So is there a link between UFOs and science-fiction?

I didnt mean there all gonna be fake, i just think that the majority are, and the ammount of fakes is on the increase, and will be going up even more if that camera that adds UFOs is anything to go by.
I just think that the real increase, is in fakes, not in actual sightings.

*i agree with that aswell Marduk, theres always an increase at the time a UFO related movie comes out, (and theres a couple out atm.)

Been thinking about this situation a bit recently & I have come to the conclusion that yes there is a rise in sightings correlating to certain film or TV shows popularity but I also think that simultaneously, peoples interest is peaked a little on the subject matter & they find themselves looking up when they usually don't bother & in return reported sightings go up.

I mean really how many everyday people look up when they are out & about ? You'd be surprised how little it really is, personally though I look up all the time these days.

The majority of people i "see" have their heads aligned the other way,ie-looking down at the damn pavements,seriously,what is that,bugs the hell out of me. :hell:

Anyway it is my view,UFO's are real and not from Earth,they are structured craft with non human occupants.This year i have been swaying toward the idea that "they" are extra dimensional in nature.I also believe strongly that there are not just ONE type of UFO and just one type of explanation for them,i believe there are many different UFO's out there and that some are also living creatures as opposed to them being manufactured craft by an alien civilisation from alpha centauri?.I've even seen this on a live nasa broadcast this year(i think it was)..it was a surreal moment where the camera operator zoomed in on this anomaly in space that i can only best describe as a "space blob" which did look alive in some way,it was very weird.
Why has the past year been a record globally for UFO sightings?...I can only say that more people have become passionate about the subject which is great.They showed recently how ufo sightings apparently sky rocketed in 1996,but this was the year the x files launched,it's just like has been said,people see this and tend to wonder in the REAL world,the lift their heads up from the pavement and look skyward,more eyes on the skies=more ufo's.
I'd like to know for once what the whole deal is with them,with Roswell/rendlesham forest etc before i leave this Earth. :ohno:

....I'd swap all the chemtrails in the world anyday for one,just one great UFO sighting. :oops:
