@socks, you are correct, it was the church that used to do those things, they held tight the knowledge and political will as well. We have since learned to do the same thing with community centers, schools, colleges etc and to leave religion out of the equation.

Christianity does have some good teachings.

But it has also been perverted, (no pun intended) in many ways.

My problem with Christianity is how they harp on hell so much, and basically make people live in fear. To me no god would want his people to live in fear, he would want you to live in love.

Fear has been used to control people through the ages. It is a tool.

There is no hell, they just feed you that shit so you pay them $$ and do as your told.

You can look at some of the martial law stuff in america, the CIA recruited the pastors who will basically be putting propaganda down to the followers. (There was an article on this a few months back, google it.)

Humans have 2 main emotions, love and fear, every other emotion is a combination of these two. Fear is a long wave, and love is a fast short wave. So when you live in love, your energy goes through your spine faster and hits more receptors, and you experience more from life. (this is a fact)

If you need a god to follow or you need to be a part of something then maybe church is for you, but I think most people can find their own spirituality inside yourself and see the connections from you to everything else around you. You dont need a book or some old pedophile to tell you this, all you have to do is look within.

I studied satanism for a bit for my art, and I was shocked to find out that to get to the higher levels of satanism you have to become a christian preacher. (no shit) Also higher levels of satanism is about raping little boys to steal their youth (this is for real, I am not making this up, as damaged as it sounds) So is it any wonder you see these pastors raping the altar boys?! See the connections?

Hell even pictures of Jesus these days mirror the satanic idol of "Baphomet" which I have shown here many times - go look at my photos on here if you want to see for yourself.

If you look inside yourself and search your feelings you can 'feel' the spiritual connections you have with everything around you.
