So the UN has ordered Israel to open up its nuclear facilities to inspections with immediate effect, considering what persecution other nations have had to go through like IRAN amongst a few, if Israel does not cooperate will they to get the same treatment other nations get, will America send its drones over, will the UN place sanctions On Israel like they have done to other nations or will this be quietly swept under the carpet

The UN General Assembly has overwhelmingly approved a resolution calling on Israel to open its nuclear program for inspection “without further delay.”

Israel’s advanced nuclear arsenal has long been understood to exist, although it hasn’t been officially admitted by the Israeli government. Many have argued Israel’s possession of nuclear weapons is what drives the accelerated Iranian program and causes other regional instability.

The resolution was approved on Monday by a vote of 174-6 with 6 abstentions and calls on Israel to join the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty immediately and open its nuclear facilities to inspection by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

It also offered support for a high-level conference to ban nuclear weapons from the Middle East which was just canceled by the US and Israel, in order to protect Israel’s regional nuclear monopoly.

If Israel agreed to dismantling its vast stockpiles of nuclear weapons and to a deal enforcing a nuclear weapons-free zone in the Middle East – a deal Iran and Israel’s Arab neighbors have repeatedly proposed – the supposed threats Israel faces in the region would virtually disappear.

But Israel refuses to give up its nuclear monopoly, insistent on maintaining its excuse to build up its military and distract from the Palestinian issue.

As former CIA Middle East analyst Paul Pillar has written, “the Iran issue” provides a “distraction” from international “attention to the Palestinians’ lack of popular sovereignty.

Considering Israel has constantly broken UN resolutions it is very unlikely the UN will offer nothing more than a slap on the rest at best, yes the UN are quick to condemn matters but have failed again and again to take any meaningful action.

UN resolutions against Israel

We often hear from politicians and in the news talk about reasons why we should go to war against Iran and previously Iraq because they have broken a UN resolution or are not complying with the wishes of weapon inspection teams.

Our leaders often like to take the moral high ground when talking about human rights and how the wishes of the international community must be adhered to when the UN makes a decision. They use the force of the UN and the security council when they require moral legitamacy to go to war yet they are prepared to ignore or circumvent it when votes don’t go their way.

When the west uses the UN to deal with issues surrounding the Middle East they are perfectly prepared to issue resolutions that legitimise the death of millions of children through starvation as they did during the sanctions regime imposed on Iraq. They are also perfectly willing to use the UN to legitimise pre-emptive wars and as they are now doing with Iran impose sanctions for it’s pursuit of nuclear energy just because they suspect it might be planning a weapons programme despite the say so of nuclear weapons inspectors.

However there is one country in the Middle East that does have nuclear weapons and this same country has been occupying parts of Palestine in breach of UN resolutions for half a century. In fact Israel has broken more UN resolutions that any other in UN history. This country also has the benefit that their biggest ally, the USA, will veto any serious resolution against them preventing any action from being carried out.

Does this seem right or fair? Was the UN designed only to be a tool to be used by the powerful to legitamise it’s actions. A talking shop to be ignored at will no matter how deserving a resolution may seem purely because powerful lobby groups such as AIPAC have control over most of the US congress?

They will simply pop the UN the finger like they do over and over again. I don't think this will be any different. I will be curious as to the excuses that Israel will come up with and how the US will side with them.

Thanks for the history lesson, lol. I believe that no other country has been condemned as many times as Israel. I am saying that without researching, but I would be surprised if another country was slapped down as many times.

You are looking at the deadliest weapon of them all. This one happens to be located in Maaleh Adumim in the Judean desert just outside of Jerusalem, but it could have been located anywhere in Judea, Samaria, 'east' Jerusalem, or for that matter, in 'west' Jerusalem, the Galilee, the Negev or Metropolitan Tel Aviv. You see, there is no weapon in the world that is as deadly as a Jewish home in Israel. The proof? Compare the world's reaction to the construction of Jewish homes to its reaction to murder and genocide in other countries in this region.

Forget the cluster bomb and the mine, the poison gas shell and even tailored viruses. Iran can keep its nuclear bombs. They don’t impress anyone in Europe or in Washington, DC. Genocide is equally not worthy of attention when in the presence of the fearsome weapon of terror that is an Israeli family of four moving into a new apartment downwind from Jerusalem.
Sudan may have built a small mountain of African corpses, but it can’t expect to command the full and undivided attention of the world until it does something truly outrageous like building a house and filling it with Jews. Since the Sudanese Jews are as gone as the Jews of Egypt, Iraq, Syria and good old Afghanistan, the chances of Bashir the Butcher pulling off that trick are rather slim.
Due to the Muslim world’s shortsightedness in driving out its Jews from Cairo, Aleppo and Baghdad to Jerusalem, the ultimate weapon in international affairs is entirely controlled by the Jewish State. The Jewish State’s stockpile of Jews should worry the international community far more than its hypothetical stockpiles of nuclear weapons. No one besides Israel cares much about the Iranian bomb. But when Israel builds a house, then the international community tears its clothes, wails, threatens to recall its ambassadors and boycott Israeli peaches.

You can steal all the gold in Greece. You can blow up anything you like and threaten anyone you will, but you had better not lift a drill near Gilgal, where Joshua and a few million escaped Hebrew slaves pitched their camp.
Obama has yet to respond to the Muslim Brotherhood coup in Egypt. The gangs of paid rapists assaulting women in Tahrir Square on behalf of the Sharia state are nothing for the White House to worry about. Everyone has their standards and he and the international community have theirs. There are things that we all cannot abide. And for all the Miss America answers about ending war, hunger and people who wear plaid in public, the one thing that everyone will stand up against or sit down in opposition to is the Israeli house.

israel will ignore any resolution it wants to, because israel clearly doesn't give a flying fuck what anybody else thinks or says abut it's actions.
a law unto itself, above and beyond the responsibilities of mere mortals ( the goyim ).
understandable, if one considers that they think god has given them the green light to do so

.
whatever

Zechariah 12
2 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3 And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.
