That's exactly what I thought when I read the subject header.

yes fear the cancer that we are already receiving through the lines, and please don't try and support a solar energy that could pass energy underground to deep underground power sources and be efficient in collecting renewable basically unlimited energy

think in small terms what this could revolutionize, along with several different ways of acquiring.

transfer power through the ionosphere to power a hospital through an Antenna? it's is about as dangerous as a hard wired power line, and more efficient and seemingly more unlimited than wired power coal / nuclear / oil energy.

the only thing they needed to work on is the accuracy, but if you had solar panels in space they could relay or transfer power to a source or antenna way above the normal human radiation levels ( upper atmosphere or power reflectors). They could potentially wire tap that power and disperse through there if needed.

just saying this Idea is better than a wired and ancient "lined" power grid.

agreed. the guy in the ted talks seems to make it sound pretty safe, can't be any worse than the cancer inducing threats we already face!

But why? Why put in all the time, effort, and money to get this started, if we can use that time, effort, and money to discover something truly good?
