I've studied wicca, high magic, lots of occult stuff, quabala, alchemy and many forms of divination.
in all honesty i can say that healing with herbs works, divination like runes and tarot is just psycology but can be of intrigue. high magic is mainly meditation and the will power to take action yourself.
wicca is all nature worship and positive thinking. alchemy is pointless if your trying to make gold, but if you use it for spagyria and the opus magus of oneself it is a usefull tool.

do i believe magic works? that would be telling, if you observe an experiment you change the outcome.
i dont light candles and make wishes, but i do visualise my goals and desires and I heal with natural remedies rather than western medicine.
Ive never raised a demon or called forth spirits in a circle, nor do i invoke deitys, THAT WOULD BE POINTLESS IT JUST DOESNT WORK.

smoking salvia divinorum makes you time travel, or rather relive memories. amanita muscaria is a fungus thats toxic but makes a good anti depressent in small doses boiled in honey, or helps hallucinate (lift the veil) in larger doses with wine though it may be illegal in some countrys. lavander aids sleep, dandylions crushed into a paste with linseed oil cures warts, potio priapi is a love potion made from fennel and vervain. pm me if you want more info, im always willing to help healing or psychonauts (as long as its legal, if not your on your own).

Many books have been writ upon the subject of mysticism, esoteric and spiritual practices.
Many of these books claim to reveal a pearl of wisdom or a great secret art if you were to buy their book .
Contained within the pages of these magic cook books, occult grimoires and pseudo science books are bizarre rites that take years to master linguistic pronunciations and resonant intonation.
They reveal recipes that require rare ingredients from the deepest darkest regions of the earth for ointments, oils, creams and balms that supposedly enchant, heal or attract love and bliss. These odd little books claim to give you the secrets of meditation that bring you into a higher plane of existence or give you any other fanciful thing you may desire by simply lighting a suitable coloured candle.
There are old grimoires with many rituals contained therein that require such items as mandrake root, the poisonous belladonna, frankincense, lets not forget the blood of a virgin extracted by a blind priest on Easter morning before the sun rises.
Let us try to find the tears of a dying albatross mixed with finest powdered alicorn that must be drunk specifically when Jupiter is in conjunction with Uranus, or Mars squares the tropic of cancer. There are many rites that require consultation of an almanac so specific that it meets the criteria of the Gregorian calendar and the Aztec Popul Vu and takes into account leap years and Pythagorean theory.
The ever so difficult one with Saturn in alignment with grandma’s hot pot under the light of a full moon whilst standing on one leg in a fairy ring on Biddulph Moor reciting the Egyptian book of the dead in reverse with accurate pronunciation whilst slaughtering the purest goat as a sacrifice for the god Baal then we must drink its blood whilst masturbating over a leprechaun cursed with a deformed rainbow. This has only ever been performed by a shadowy figure known as the grand perfected master bates.
OK so these examples are pure folly, but no more unusual than the works of Aliester Crowley or the Gardnerian book of Wicca. If you take into account Masonic rituals and the order of the golden dawn, they get ever so slightly sillier.
all i can say is magic is all in the mind, but its not a figment of an unstable one.....peace out

i belive magic is real,but witchcraft is just a way of performing it....it is indeed pagan costume ,saddly to our days magic rituals know before are now "corrupted"...cause bit of how to work it remains....i read this book by pv piobb i think it was, he states that magic is a fluid, it interacts with us and we can interact with it,(to my own interpretation this can b taken for a magnetic field) its an intresting conncection i dont have the book right here and i dont remember lots of it but its worth reading,im trying to find it online right now so u guys can see it...case i cant find it its called formulaire de haute magie...
