Documentary film 'In the Beginning, There Was Light' gave her the idea.

Tages-Anzeiger reports that a woman starved to death after embarking on a spiritual diet that required her to stop eating or drinking and live off sunlight alone.

The Zurich newspaper reported Wednesday that the unnamed Swiss woman in her fifties decided to follow the radical fast in 2010 after viewing an Austrian documentary about an Indian guru who claims to have lived this way for 70 years.

Tages-Anzeiger says there have been similar cases of self-starvation in Germany, Britain and Australia.

Says she starved to death, so obviously she's been drinking something. Cheater.
You would dehydrate weeks before starving.

People who claim this stuff is real should go right ahead and try it. :bang;

There's people here who think that this could work.

Because some kid claims he can do it. It's fake as hell, but a lot of people here believe anything you tell em.

http://www.breatharian.com/

They believe in a similar philosophy.........dedicated to not consuming anything but air and water.......

apparently these victims dont understand that these gurus are doing this AFTER years of conditioning with a gradually reduced diet.....

cutting the normal diet off instantly, causes the body to go into shock and consume/metabolize fat and muscle, causing atrophy and causing the body to release toxins from the muscles as they metabolize muscle cells for nutrients, lactic acid, etc, giving you that down feeling when hungry, and also having and effect on the organs.....

the body has a hard time dealing with filtering toxins when the organs have been depleated of their waterborne states.......when when you get dehydrated the first thing to go is the kidneys.......and they are very important to the whole process of filtration of the blood, which carries the nutriens to the musculature.

That's the thing. Religion. She wasn't thinking at all. She had faith. Puh.
The two choices we have are something starting from nothing, or something existing infinitely. These are both paradoxes. The existence of everything is therefore a paradox. -daemonfoe
