WOW! Just got banned from GLP for THIS discovery!

dont know about being run by the CIA, but their admin certainly isnt above cutting off their own nose to spite their face

I was posting in the `glp is under attack' thread, supporting their position when that forum admin guy showed up and told some blatent `untruths'

I politely disagreed- bingo- insta banned
(now I just happen to run a small network- about 5000 users- which as network admin of course I can see where users are going)
there are 2 registered users and about a dozen regular a.c.s that post from my network

Now its not up to me to say where and when people on my network go- but I must admit- glp is now on the blacklist after 2 days of them playing spot the new posts (my network has 3 seperate isp feeds and a wide range of static and dynamic ip addresses to choose from

I must admit, it did kind of feel good to be as biased as the glp admin and ban someone purely out of spite

(of course like many other admins- our blacklist and whitelist are shared amongst various other network admins, so I dare say there will be a lot less aussies posting on glp shortly)

oh well

they seem to be running a hunt em down now though, doing this under a "we are under attack", asking for die hards to support them, join the list of round ups eh ???
personally got banned quite a while back for critiscising the american methods

funny thing is that I was actually supporting glp!!
but that wasnt a good enough reason not for that particular mod to try and ban me
(funny thing was his statement is still there- and any longtime glp user will tell you- he lied!!!)

funniest thing is that he banned the main network portal- so banned all the glp users from my network anyway (altho even if he lifted the ip ban on my gateway, they are still blacklisted in the hosts file until/if I get around to modifying it again)
