YouTube fights online anonymity?

While Congress cracks down on cyber freedoms, lawmakers aren't the only ones changing their ways. The video-sharing site YouTube is asking its billions of users to reveal their real identities when posting online comments.

I got an email from YT regarding this a few days ago.

There are questions regarding the use of a user's "real name".

The easy answer is to not post comments, but like or dislike, or fav, or flag, or all the other options.

There are other ways around this which I will not get into here, but YT definitely has its problems.

A few here as well as myself have faced them.

Its the law.

They cannot supercede the laws they are obliged to follow. And only by the law can you defeat their wrangling.

After all, the law pertains to everyone. If a government or other entity enacts a law, they too are bound by it. THATS the problem with laws.

Some would call it a loophole. I call it, come uppance.

OK...this one is sickeningly obvious.
If you don't want everyone and anyone to listen to you on this freak of nature and existence, don't say anything.
I could care less if Johnny Law is paying attention to me here in cyberspace. Everyone who knows me, knows me as Will or Bill back in the day. My life is an open book. I only wish more people wanted to listen to my story...the never ending torment.
