My problem with Zeitgiest is they attack the version of Jesus the Roman Catholic Church enforces and ignore entirely how that version is just the Romans rewriting and erasing who he truly was. They use the Roman lies to say he is a lie. Which really makes things much easier for the Romans. They tried for a long time to get people to forget about Jesus, and eventually just started pretending he was something else.

The first Zeigeist film was on a different topic to fimls two and three. You have a valid point, but I don't believe it's relevant to the discussion.

Personally I appriciate the teachings of the Jesus character, but reject religeon as a whole.

I much prefer more modern philosophers; ones that aren't understood in the context of faith-ased belief systems.

I look forward to the film they produce that actually shows people what to do to change things. One that does not just push the idea of some scientifically based utopia. There are other facets to human nature than only an enquiring mind. The same as there is more to nature than meets the mind. Stop looking for guidance and make things happen by actively changing yourselves, and the people around you will benefit because of your effort.

That's better advice than all 3 zeitgeist movies combined imo.

I've went through the following link about Joseph and not found anything truly damning, BUT there are ALOT of question marks around this whole movement and what it all really means imo.

well I found a little story about the Zeitgeist forum and actions speak words let me show you. This is a quote from the freeman society forum

I've been listening to j fresco for years,I like some of the things he says,but he is yet another failed sci-fi writer trying to make a cult.does tha remind you of anybody? l ron hubbard,roddenberry and g lucas got their cults.

I look at it like this,he will never get his cult but he can show people new ways of thinking,and that's what counts. and it's even more important now for us to use our modern society and technology for social evolution, fresco et al are just a pebble in a pond.
